1. Puran Poli

2. Bharli Vangi - The Royal Curry


Bharli Vangi is a traditional Maharashtra dish made with stuffed brinjals cooked in a spicy peanut-coconut masala. It is best enjoyed with bhakri or chapati and gives a rich earthy flavour.


3. Thalipeeth 


Thalipeeth is a nutritious flatbread made from multigrain flour , onions and spices. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, it is usually served with white butter or curd. It is a perfect example of Maharashtra's simple yet wholesome food culture.


4. Zunka Bhakri 


A staple rural dish, Zunka Bhakri is made from gram flour cooked with spices, served with jowar or bajra bhakri. This simple meal reflects the hardworking spirit of Maharashtra's villages. 


5. Sol Kadhi 


Sol Kadhi is a cooling drink made with kokum and coconut milk. Popular in the Konkan region, it helps in digestion and balances spicy meals.
